Requirement review / supplier coordination

Custom brake hose drawings, MOQ and quote alignment

Use this page when a bulk brake hose or made-to-print assembly needs a drawing, length convention and minimum order quantity before factories can quote. Hosehaven Sourcing coordinates the questions; production remains with the supplier named on the offer.

Define the coordination scope

Requirements review

Collect working medium, overall length in mm, end-fitting thread and seat, fitting angle, bracket position, model year, engine code and order unit. If a print exists, keep the length measurement points identical on every request. Bicycle hose and unmarked garden hose sit outside this scope.

Supplier questions

Ask which factory will form the ends, whether a sample can be tied to a batch identifier, and which pressure or impulse reports apply to that assembly identity. Material grade and surface finish of a braid must be stated, not inferred from a photo.

Quote comparison

Separate unit cost, packing unit, freight, taxes, sample cost and service fees. A bulk brake hose reel quote cannot be compared with a finished assembly quote until both use the same unit. Optional USD per-piece or whole-order budget is a screening aid, not a published price list.

Order handoff

Record approved sample, unresolved deviations, Incoterms and who inspects incoming lots. Sample approval is not a standing certificate that later lots match. Left/right orientation and mounting position stay on the purchase record.

Limits of this desk

We do not issue SAE certificates, run impulse benches or promise interchange. When a supplier cites SAE J1401 or J1402, request the edition, tested assembly number and report identifier. New versus remanufactured condition, kit versus individual hose and sample versus lot checks remain open until the supplier answers in writing.

Minimum order quantity, lead time and packing are supplier replies. If you later send CAD after the form, keep the same assembly identity so quotes do not drift.

Send the print and order unit

Include quantity by position, destination ZIP code and whether a sample must precede the production lot.
